Animal Head Wall Sculpture Workshop

Workshops on creating ceramic wall décor in the form of animal heads:
Rhino, Giraffe, Unicorn, Horse, Bear, Zebra, and Cheetah.

Rhino — an armored giant that lives in harmony with the world, values self-expression, and solves challenges as soon as they appear.

Giraffe — an expressive tropical giant capable of reaching the highest treetops.

Unicorn — create your own magical unicorn.

Zebra — a symbol of bold self-expression.

This workshop will introduce you to sculptural techniques in ceramic art.
You will create your own ceramic rhino head, which can function either as a wall sconce or a decorative wall sculpture.

To make the process easy and the result impressive, our step-by-step methods and experienced instructors will guide you through every stage.

Workshop Structure

The workshop consists of two sessions, during which you will create a ceramic animal head based on the Rhino formwhile learning professional clay-working techniques.

Session 1 — Sculpting

During the first session, you will learn the basic techniques of working with clay and plaster molds.

You will also receive introductory knowledge in anatomy, sculpture, and ceramic construction.
You will learn how to model and decorate ceramic surfaces.

By the end of this session, you will complete your rhino head sculpture, which will remain in the studio for drying.

Session 2 — Glazing

The second session takes place no earlier than one week after the first.

During this class, you will give your sculpture its final color and finish.
We will teach you how to work with ceramic glazes, explain their effects and properties, and help you choose the right finish.

Duration: 2 hours.

After the final kiln firing, you can collect your piece from the studio or have it delivered via Nova Poshta.
