This master class will teach you sculptural techniques for working with ceramics. You will create your own ceramic rhino head, which can be in the form of a sconce or a wall sculpture. The master class consists of 2 classes in which you will create a ceramic head of an animal based on the “Rhinoceros” shape and master the techniques of working with clay. The first class is modeling. In this class we will teach you the basic techniques of working with clay and plaster molds. You will also gain basic knowledge in anatomy, sculpture and ceramic construction. You will learn to model and decorate ceramics. Upon completion of this lesson, you will make a rhinoceros head and leave it for us to dry The second lesson takes place no earlier than a week after the first. In this lesson, your task will be to give color to the sculpture. We will teach you how to work with ceramic glazes, tell you about their effects and properties. The lesson lasts 2 hours. You can pick up the work after the final firing or we will send it by Nova Poshta.
