About the master class

“Skull” Ceramic Workshop — Kyiv

The “Skull” Workshop in Kyiv is an opportunity to immerse yourself in the world of ceramics and create a truly unique art object.
You will learn sculptural techniques, explore decoration and glazing methods, and create an original piece that can become a striking element of your interior or a creative gift.

Workshop Program

Session 1 — Sculpting (2 hours)

• Creating the base of the skull (either a candle holder or a decorative box) using a step-by-step method guided by the instructor.

• Decorating the piece in your own personal style.

• The work is then left to dry and undergo the first kiln firing.

Session 2 — Glazing (2 hours, approximately 2 weeks later)

• Working with ceramic glazes: techniques, effects, and color combinations.

• Final finishing of your sculpture.

• After the final kiln firing, the finished piece can be collected from the studio or delivered via Nova Poshta.

Result

• A unique ceramic skull sculpture handmade by you.

• New skills in working with clay and ceramic glazes.

KUST Studio Policies

1. Storage of Works

Finished works are stored for 3 months from the date of the first class.
Please make sure to complete and collect your pieces within this period.

2. Booking Cancellation

If you cannot attend a booked session, please notify the studio at least 36 hours before the class begins.
Otherwise, the deposit or 50% of the certificate value will be non-refundable.
