Bird Lamp Ceramic Workshop Gift Certificate in Kyiv
Give someone the chance to make a ceramic lamp shaped like their favourite bird. It could be an owl, toucan, parrot, raven, puffin or an imaginary bird with a character of its own.
In this workshop, the recipient will take part in the full process, from sculpting the bird and detailing its feathers to glazing, firing and installing the electrical fittings.
No previous experience with ceramics is needed. A KUST instructor will help develop the bird’s character, refine its proportions, textures and decoration, and prepare the piece to become a lamp.
How the workshop works
First session — sculpting, 4 hours
Shape the ceramic bird and work on its wings, beak, feathers and personal details. Add decorative openings for the light to shine through.
After the session, the piece will stay at the studio to dry slowly and receive its first firing.
Second session — glazing, 3 hours
Choose colours, learn about ceramic glazes and decorate your bird with guidance from an instructor.
After glazing, we’ll give the piece its final firing and install the electrical fittings. The finished lamp can be collected from a KUST studio or shipped by Nova Poshta.

Studio rules
Finished pieces are stored for 3 months from the date of the first session.
Please give at least 36 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule. Otherwise, your deposit or 50% of the gift certificate’s value will be forfeited.
