10-Session Sculptural Ceramics Course Gift Certificate in Kyiv

Give someone the chance to immerse themselves in ceramics. KUST’s sculptural ceramics course takes the recipient through the full creative process, from an initial sketch and shaping the clay to glazing and the final firing.

Over ten sessions, the recipient can develop their own project: a sculpture, vase, lamp, decorative object or a series of original ceramic pieces.

The course is suitable for beginners and for anyone who wants to develop their skills with professional sculpting clay, form, texture, details and ceramic glazes.

Course programme

Session 1 — Developing your idea and beginning to sculpt, 2 hours

Discuss your idea, make a sketch, plan the project and begin shaping its foundation.

Sessions 2–7 — Sculpting, 2 hours each

Gradually build the form and work on its volume, structure, proportions and key elements.

Session 8 — Refining the details, 2 hours

Add textures, relief, smaller features and decoration. Prepare your work to dry slowly before its first firing.

Sessions 9–10 — Glazing, 3 hours each

Choose colours, learn about ceramic glazes and glaze additives, and decorate your piece in stages before the final firing.

We’ll complete all necessary firings. Once ready, the finished piece can be collected from KUST or shipped by Nova Poshta.

Studio rules

• Pieces are stored for 3 months from the date of the first session.

• Please give at least 36 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule a booking.
