Three-Session Clay Sculpting Course Gift Certificate in Kyiv

Give someone the chance to experience the full process of making ceramics, from an initial sketch to a finished piece. This three-session course at KUST is suitable for beginners and for anyone who wants to develop their skills.

The recipient can make a small tableware set, vase, sculpture, planter or another original piece. An instructor will help develop the idea, choose suitable techniques and guide them through each stage.

Course programme

1. Idea and shaping — 2 hours

Discuss your idea, make a sketch and plan your piece. Learn the basics of hand-building and create its initial form.

2. Sculpting and details — 2 hours

Complete the form, refine its proportions and add texture, decoration and personal details.

3. Glazing — 2 hours

Choose colours and ceramic glazes, learn about their properties and add the finishing touches before the final firing.

After the course, the piece will stay at the studio for its final firing. You can collect the finished work from KUST or have it shipped by Nova Poshta.

Studio rules

• Pieces are stored for 3 months from the date of the first session.

• Please give at least 36 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule. Otherwise, your deposit or half the value of the gift certificate will be forfeited.
