Pottery Wheel Workshop
This workshop will introduce you to the ancient art of pottery.
You will learn how to center clay on the wheel, shape your piece, control the thickness of the walls, and decorate and glaze your ceramics to give them both functionality and beauty.
Pottery is an incredible sensory experience — a way to find inner balance and enjoy a relaxing, creative process that results in something tangible you created yourself.
• Create ceramic tableware on a pottery wheel under the guidance of an experienced instructor.
• Each participant will make 1–2 unique pieces, such as a cup, bowl, plate, or sugar bowl.
• Gift certificates with no expiration date can be used at the KUST Ceramics Studio in Kyiv.

What to Expect
This workshop is a perfect creative break for couples, friends, or family members in the heart of Kyiv.
You will learn the basics of pottery, enjoy the process, and create your own stylish ceramic tableware.
Session 1 — Pottery Wheel
Shaping your piece on the pottery wheel, working with form and details, and adding personal decorative elements.
Duration: 1 hour
Session 2 — Decoration
Painting with underglaze engobes, creating a unique design, and exploring color combinations.
Duration: 1 hour
Final Stage
Our instructors will complete the glazing and final kiln firing.
Your finished pieces will be ready for pickup in about 2 weeks, or they can be delivered via Nova Poshta.

Participation Rules
Storage of works — finished pieces are stored for 3 months from the date of the first session.
Booking cancellation — please notify us at least 36 hours before the workshop. Otherwise, the deposit or 50% of the certificate value will be forfeited.
