POTTERY MASTER CLASS

This master class will allow you to master the ancient art of pottery. You will learn how to center clay on a wheel, how to properly create a shape and maintain wall thickness, decorate and glaze products, giving them functionality and beauty. Pottery is an incredible feeling, a search for inner balance and a wonderful anti-stress, which in the end also brings results.

• Create ceramic dishes on a potter's wheel under the guidance of an experienced craftsman.
• Each participant will make 1–2 unique items: a cup, bowl, plate, or sugar bowl.
• Gift certificates without expiration date — can be used at the KUST studio in Kyiv.

What to expect at the master class

This is the perfect creative getaway for a couple, friends or family in the heart of Kyiv. You will master the basics of pottery, get emotional satisfaction and create your own stylish ceramic dishes.

The first lesson is pottery: shaping products on a potter's wheel, working with shape and details, individual decor (1 hour).
The second lesson is painting: painting with underglaze engobes, creating a unique design, working with color (1 hour).
Completion - our craftsmen will perform glazing and final firing. Finished products can be picked up in 2 weeks or ordered for delivery by Nova Poshta.

Rules of participation

Certificates are not refundable. They can be transferred to another person or exchanged for another master class or KUSTceramics products.
Work is stored for 3 months from the first lesson.
Cancellation of reservation - notify 36+ hours before the master class, otherwise the prepayment or 50% of the certificate value will be lost.
