“Heart Vase” Ceramic Workshop — Kyiv

At this ceramics workshop you will create your own heart-shaped vase based on your personal idea.
You can fill your ceramic piece with any imagery you like — add flowers, mushrooms, transform it into an anatomical heart, or keep it minimal and elegant as a sculptural vase. The creative direction is entirely in your hands.

This workshop is perfect for a romantic creative date. If you and your partner decide to create one heart together, the price remains the same.

During the second session, you will learn different glazing techniques and underglaze painting.

About the Workshop

The “Heart Vase” workshop in Kyiv is a creative journey from the first touch of clay to a finished ceramic piece.
You will learn how to work with forms, decorate your piece, and master the basic techniques of ceramic glazing.

Your final result will be a unique handmade ceramic heart vase.

Workshop Program

Session 1 — Sculpting (3 hours)

• Introduction to materials and tools

• Creating the base of the vase using a heart-shaped mold

• Decorating and adding unique elements to give the piece its individual character

Session 2 — Glazing (2 hours, approximately two weeks later)

• Basics of working with ceramic glazes

• Tips on color combinations and decorative effects

• Preparing the piece for the final kiln firing

Result

• A finished ceramic heart-shaped vase that can be collected after the final firing or delivered via Nova Poshta

• New skills in working with clay, molds, and ceramic glazes

• A pleasant creative experience in the cozy atmosphere of the KUST Ceramics Studio in Kyiv

KUST Ceramics Studio Policies

1. Storage of Works

Finished works are stored in the studio for 3 months starting from the date of the first class.
Please make sure to complete and collect your pieces within this period.

2. Booking Cancellation

If you cannot attend a booked workshop, please notify the studio at least 36 hours before the scheduled class.
Otherwise, the deposit or 50% of the certificate value will be forfeited.
